Welcome to 6th grade ELA! I am excited for the start of the new school year and I hope you are too. I'm Mrs. Ackell and I will be your English Language Arts teacher this school year. This will be my 14th year of teaching and 2nd year at North Schuylkill School District. I am married with two kids. We live in the school district and are actively involved in the community. I love sports and enjoy playing them too. We will be using the Pearson series as our textbook and you will have a log in, which I will provide you in the next week or so. I hope you are ready to soar this school year and do the best that you can! Students please check your gapps account through North Schuylkill to connect to Google Classroom! I believe I have sent an email to most of you that I knew you were on my roster as of yesterday, 8/23.
